IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CALIBRATIONS
1994 to 1997 and early 1999 Power Stroke and International trucks are fitted with smaller volume injectors than the late 1999 and up Super Duty trucks, and as such are limited to increases of about 65 HP for the 1994 to 1997 and 100 HP for the early 1999. Some trucks, depending on tolerances, may be able to utilize up to 80 HP and 120 HP respectively, but we cannot guarantee that the power gains will be achieved.
1994-1997 TRUCKS WILL HAVE FEWER CALIBRATION SELECTIONS DUE TO THE POWER LIMITATIONS OF THE FACTORY STOCK INJECTORS. ADDITIONALLY, TRUCKS WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS WILL HAVE FEWER CALIBRATION SELECTIONS DUE TO THE PROGRAMMING CHANGES THAT ARE MADE TO SHIFTING BETWEEN TOW AND POWER CALIBRATIONS.
ALL 7.3L PSDs WILL HAVE A MINIMUM OF 15 CALIBRATIONS AVAILABLE.
DUE TO THE LIMITATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL VEHICLES, ONLY 7-10 CALIBRATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
*Due to injector size, stock 1994 to 1997 trucks can only order calibrations up to 80HP. Early 1999 can go up to 100HP. Late 2001 to 2003 PSDs can not order the 140X tune because they have Powdered Metal Rods.
|Steve H. on 04/15/2017||Night and day difference coming from the edge evo. The Hydra has a lot smoother power over a wider rpm range, lower egt's and less smoke for the same horsepower tune. So far I've tried tunes for the original hex file for my truck and the recommended hex file and I like the older tunes better, the trans shifts firmer, they feel like they have more power and lower egt's at w.o.t. cruising egt's and pulling hills at part throttle are about the same between the two. The one thing I like about the newer tunes though is the converter doesn't unlock on down shifts.|

|ANDREW G. on 04/14/2017||I have had multiple 7.3s, I put larger I hectors in my truck and she ran rough!! I put the hydra chip on with power hungry get tunes and man has my truck come alive!! And what's awesome is when I do the fuel system or the trans next I can just plug my computer in and BAM new tunes! This chip and the es saved my truck. I could not be happier (unless it also gave me like 30mpg).|

|Bristin C. on 04/03/2017||Switched from a TS Flip Chip to the Hydro. Had issues getting good contact when installing, sent my PCM and Hydro back to get the issue addressed. Received a phone call letting me know the issues and solution. Just finished installing and test driving. I like the hydro way better, the power curves are smoother and EGT's are running lower.|
|Baron G. on 03/28/2017||Absolutely well worth the money! By far the best investment I have made in my vehicle yet. The engine tuning makes great power and my fuel mileage increased over 3 mpg. The transmission tuning totally fixed the soft and poorly timed shifts of my automatic transmission. I also purchased custom tunes for my aftermarket injectors. The tunes did everything I wanted them to and more! This made my worn out pickup feel like a whole different new vehicle!|

|David G. on 03/27/2017||Gotta say, I am very, VERY happy with this Hydra tuner. I had a competitors tuner and pulled it out after 4 weeks. Losing 3.7 mpg wasn't Ok especially after reading so many negative comments about the rate of motor failures with their 80hp tune! I loaded the 65hp towing, 80hp DD, 120hp and 140hp in my Hydra. With the competitors 80hp tune I could not ease into the throttle soft enough to keep the tires from spinnjng on my icy driveway. With every setting on my Hydra I get no wheel spin ... very important here in Alaska! My truck is so much easier to drive with Bills tunes, and it sure accelerates nice, REALLY nice. And, such a great staff to work with, thank you Bill and Angela for all your help!|
